INDIANA---Alpha Omega Arts is proud to announce an "Open Call" for nominations for the 5th Annual A&O Prize for Contemporary Religious Art. It is a non-acquisitive honor, awarded in the opinion of the members of the A&O community of believers, and skeptics too, for the best in contemporary religious or spiritual art by an American artist.
Begun in 2008, the A&O Prize invites nominations for artwork from all faiths, and perspectives which advance the dialogue about understanding religioun and spirituality within the United States. The 2012 prize is presented in partnership with the Center for Interfaith Cooperation, Indiana Interchurch Center, and coincides with A&O's participation in the 26th Annual Spirit & Place Festival.
